Sony DCR-SR47 is a camera with easy to use function does exactly what it is supposed to do. In anticipation of the theatrical presentation of my daughter, we bought this camera at a local electronics store just before the time. I was hoping to get it up and running would not be very difficult given the short time we had to get familiar with it. When I got home, I had no cash, and the battery while I changed and prepared for the recital. After the recital, I opened the display, wine, and I was able to start recording without first reading the manual. During the intermission, my wife and I marveled at the camera no matter how small it actually is and how it felt natural, both in the mines (large) and its (small) hands, was also light, with just enough Heft .
Before purchasing, I had read online reviews here and elsewhere saying that when the Sony DCR-SR47 was connected to a TV, video quality was less than acceptable. I have found that this is the case. Back home after the concert, they were eager to show the behavior of some neighbors. We have a 43 “plasma HDTV, and video quality seemed normal” standard definition “when playing in the definition of a” high “television. I mean, it was not clear, but it seemed the normal form of any video standard definition should look. That said, if you want a crystal clear when played on your HDTV, consider purchasing a video camera high definition. Connecting the camera to the TV was easy, as it connects to our computer, running Windows XP Professional. I had to upgrade to XP Service Pack 3 for the included software to be installed, but once installed, could take video from your camcorder to your computer without problems and was able to initiate immediate editing and such.
Given my short experience with the Sony DCR-SR47 , I give 5 stars. It records audio movies very well, the image looks good on television and both the hardware and software lets you organize and edit the issue (of less importance, even) of videos and photos. All things considered I am happy with this camera.
