For the price, Sanyo VPC-CG10 is a great little camera dual. It’s just the right size (fits easily into a pocket) has a good standard and high definition video and acts as a servicable point and shoot digital camera.
Here are some cons:
* Proprietary USB – What about that? Sanyo – Micro USB stick or mini, like all cameras on the market!
* 5x optical zoom – I’d like a little more (12x would be nice).
* No HDMI cable with it – I would have thought would come with single
* Battery needs to be taken to be charged.
* Camera sucks down the battery when plugged to the computer and does not charge while connected to your computer.
Here are some pros I like this VPC-CG10:
* Form factor – I’ve never had a camera pistol and I really like it so much.
* The controls are very simple and easy to use
* You can take a picture while recording video
* 720p HD video is very good
* Speak well with my Mac, thanks to MPEG-4. Connect the camera and opens up my right to the camera in iPhoto ‘09
* Good flush for this tiny camera
* The price and features really worth for the price paid
So I bought Sanyo VPC-CG10 video camera to take quick shot and has not disappointed. I’ve been watching this for a while, but could not find available anywhere until May 1. I’ve heard good things about the Flip Mino, but simply do not like.
So far so good. I recommend Sanyo VPC-CG10 Camcorder to anyone looking for a dual camcorder which can be carried in a pocket or purse for quick use when you needed.
